Name: Lisa Garland. Her nickname ever since she was a child has been "Red" because of her particular love of that color.

Age: 23

Appearance: Originally, Lisa was a thin, lovely nurse who always kept her uniform white and pressed, and wore a red sweater with matching candy apple red heels. Her both her hair and her eyes were brown. Unfortunatly, since her "accident" with Alessa, she's acqured white-blonde streak through her hair and her eyes have turned a blind, milky white. Her face is no longer sweet and lovely but scabbed, cracked and bloody. She does most of her duties while weeping tears of blood.

Personality: When she was in school, she was a sweet, outgoing girl who often was the first to sign up for volunteer groups. Ever the sweetheart, she knew her calling in life would be nursing. While carrying out her duties, she gave it her all, geniunely believing that how well she did would effect the lives of her patients.

However, after seeing Alessa she has acquired a personality that is polar opposite of her old one. She has become bitter and cold, never talking to others, and never seeking the company of people. She no longer enjoys helping others, she merely carries out her nursing duties as Alessa's eternal caretaker lifelessly. She hates talking to others face to face, ashamed by how she looks. Lisa has since forgotten what it was like to do anything recreational or for herself and as such is quite businesslike in how she acts. Miss Garland is not particularily fun to talk to for this reason.

Skills: Because she is blind she has mastered the art of memory. Lisa still remembers exactly how much morphine Alessa needs in her syringes, and what times her IVs need changed. She's memorized the layout of Alessa's room and the hospital. Given time, Lisa could probably memorize anything.

History: Born to Bill and Karen Garland, she enjoyed a life of being an only child in a middle class family. Throughout her life, her parents were kind, loving, and supportive of her. Although she was a tad spoiled, she ended up much like her mother: caring, sweet, and devoted to helping others.

In school, although she wasn't the most popular girl, she was well-liked. A regular social butterfly, she had many friends, and participated in many extra-curicular activities. Her grades, although not the best, were decent enough for her to get into nursing school. After she graduated, she became an intern at Brookhaven hospital. As a intern, she was basically the errand girl of the hospital, doing various oddjobs around the hospital.

One of those days, she had to administer painkillers to the hospital's somewhat infamous burns victim, Alessa Gillespie, as her regular doctor was out sick that day. Lisa was told that she should not look at the girl; only put the fluid into the IV and leave the room. But Miss Garland couldn't resist just a peek at the girl, because, really, who ever got the oppurtunity to see what the poor, notorious girl looked like?

It was the biggest mistake of her life. After taking a single glimpse at Alessa's charred body, she was struck with unbelievable pain, part of her hair turned white and Lisa was blinded. Ever since then, she has wandered in the room and throughout the hospital, serving as Alessa's personal nurse, never surprised by the fact that after this event she never heard from another human being.

Starting item: Lisa starts out with a syringe and a bottle of morphine.
